The Retreat is set back off the main road on 4 acres in a bushland setting with the Stockton Sand dunes at our back fence. The Retreat is located in Anna Bay with the local shops just a 2 minute drive. We are central to all the activities and attractions that Port Stephens has to offer, but with the secluded and peaceful nature setting of the bush. Group buildings available are:
The Duplexes are joined by a main wall so for groups of 30 - 35, the central doors can be opened which allows for access through to both buildings. The Retreat's group buildings are all fully self contained with private kitchens, bathrooms, lounge rooms and dining area's. All beds are ready made and towels can be hired for $2 each or guests can bring along their own. SCHOOL GROUPS School groups have the option of fully catered meals, self cook food packages or full self catering. We have suggested meal options but we are able to provide a more comprehensive catering plan to suit your group depending on if you are mainly onsite or off site. The Retreat's games room has the flexibilty of turning in to an activities room, conference room, or just an open area for group and team building activities. There is also a white board and a projection screen available to use. The Retreat has craft and activities idea's that can be carries out onsite, song lists for when sitting around the camp fire and team building games and activities. The Retreat can also assist with the planning of your itinerary and book local attractions and facilities. National Parks offer great educational talks and also guided tours. Port Stephens, as an area, covers a wide Range of subjects including Geography, History, Marine Studies, Aboriginal Studies and Tourism. All of the attractions and facilities are within a 10 minute travel time which means that many activites can be planned for a day. Additonal info such as Risk management and group activity costs can be obtained upon request. GENERAL GROUP BOOKINGS The Retreat offers food packages which are ideal for groups. The food packages are priced per person which are a great range of Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners. The Retreat is also a tours booking office so you can book and purchase most activities onsite and then go directly to your activity. We also can package up our accommodation, food packs, transfers, activities and offer an all inclusive price per person for your group. The Retreat has coach and trailor parking onsite which is at the front of the property which makes for easy access and plenty of room for turning. The Retreat has 2 large covered BBQ area's with camp fires which are a great place for the group to gather and eat your meals and enjoying the great oudoors. There is also our games room which has table tennis, pooltable, fuze ball, drink machine and stereo. The games room is located next to the pool and is central to all the group buildings and BBQ area's. The Retreat can also assist with the planning of your itinerary and book local attractions and facilities. National Parks offer great educational talks and also guided tours.
