Amy and Sara are two very passionate and family orientated people who love everything about those special occasions that happens in life which they believe truly deserves to be celebrated.

From the age of 20, Amy has been working with beautiful blossoms that nature produces which has seen her become an award winning florist. She specialises in creating stunning wedding bouquets and arrangements for Port Stephen based brides.

Since the age of 16, Sara has been working with 5-star venues, managing weddings and functions which has naturally formed her into a hospitality guru. Her extensive experience in this field is second to none.

Together, Amy and Sara make for a dynamic-duo.

Sharing the craving to doing something more creative, Amy and Sara brainstormed over countless cups of coffee about their ideas and dreams – it was then A Beautiful Occasion was born.

What was first classified as a hobby, transformed into a business venture they would come to call their own. Now after many weddings, baby showers, engagement parties, birthdays – their business is quickly becoming the go-to place for the styling of all special occasions in Port Stephens.

So what continues to fuel their creative fire? Their husbands; who are not only supportive, but are two very handy builders to have around, their combined 6 children; who reminds them both each day what happiness is, and last, but most certainly not least are their clients, who Amy & Sara want nothing more than to create each of their happily ever after for.
